La mayoría de ligas de todo el mundo tienen los "Play-Off de Promoción" para ayudar a decidir quién gana la promoción para la siguiente división de la pirámide de la liga. Puede ser un único partido o una serie de ellos jugados después de la temporada regular con la intención de determinar quién consigue la promoción además de los otros clubs que ya hayan asegurado su promoción automática.

For Mundos del Juego Estándar (excluding Mundos del Juego Personalizados as there is an option within ‘Advanced Rules’ of whether to include them or not) this means that the teams finishing in the play off places will contest the ‘Promotion Play-Offs’.

The semi-finals will be a one off match, with 6th playing 3rd and 5th playing 4th for example, and the home team being the higher placed team. The Final will be played at a neutral stadium and again would be a one off match, with the winner securing promotion to the next tier of the league pyramid.
